Paw Print A young deer ate calmly in the silent clearing. The air around it was silent, until a twig snapped. Sopping what it was doing the deer raised its head and looked around, ears twitching, muscles tense, ready to bolt. A few yards away a rabbit hopped out of some bushes, and after a moment the deer returned to eating the grass. the sound of paws, the cry of wolves, the tears of the sky, a young man sits, merely watching, the wolves surround, yet he makes not a sound, every night, dreams of them haunt his head, every night, they remind him of what he's lost, so here he stands, amongst the beasts, facing them in the end, though he knows not, that one so cursed, by the dream of the paw, is bound to travel, alone...
